This is a first draft that has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet. It will be replaced by the final text after review by a qualified legal professional in the UAE, before the public launch.
Version 1 · Last updated: 2026-09-21
1. The seller's responsibility for products
- You are responsible for the products you list and sell from your business, and for their quality, safety and match to your description.
- KHALVORI is a showcase and coordination platform. It is not the seller or maker of the products unless stated otherwise.
2. Accuracy of information, pictures and prices
- Product names, descriptions, pictures, prices and ingredients must be correct and not misleading, and you must update them when they change.
- Pictures you upload must be yours or licensed to you, and must not infringe anyone's intellectual property.
- The price shown is the price you honour on an order, and the stock shown must reflect what is really available.
3. Permitted and prohibited products
- All your products and activities must be lawful in the United Arab Emirates.
- Selling prohibited, counterfeit or stolen products, or products that need a licence you do not hold, is forbidden. [The detailed prohibited-products list is to be completed after legal review]
- The platform may refuse or remove any product, without giving detailed reasons, where there is a violation or suspected violation.
4. Licences, permits and documents
- You are responsible for your activity holding the licences and permits its type requires, and for giving correct documents when applying or when asked.
- Giving incorrect documents allows the application to be refused or the account suspended.
- Personal and business documents are kept confidential and only authorised people on the platform can see them (see the privacy policy).
5. Orders and stock
- You receive only the orders for your own business, and you must accept or reject them within a reasonable time, giving a reason when you reject.
- Accepting an order is a commitment to prepare and deliver it. Do not accept what you cannot fulfil.
6. Shipping and delivery
- You are responsible for preparing the order and handing it to the shipping company or the customer as agreed, and for entering the correct tracking number.
- The shipping company you name is not automatically approved by the platform; the administration may review and approve it, or ask for another.
- Delay, loss or damage before delivery is handled according to the published shipping policy.
7. Returns, exchanges, refunds and customer complaints
- You follow the returns and exchanges policy published on the platform, and work with the team to resolve customer complaints quickly and honestly.
- You may bear the cost of a refund where the cause is on your side (a damaged product or one that does not match its description). [The financial settlement method is to be set after legal review]
8. Protection of customer data
- You receive only the customer details needed to fulfil the order (such as name, address and mobile), and use them only for that purpose.
- You must not store them for other purposes, share them, use them for marketing without the customer's consent, or pass them to anyone other than those needed to deliver the order.
9. Seller conduct, platform rules and fraud
- You deal honestly and respectfully with customers and the team, and follow the platform's published rules.
- Fraud, fake reviews, moving customers off the platform to avoid an order, and trying to reach other people's data are forbidden.
10. Suspension, termination and removal of products
- KHALVORI may remove any product, suspend a seller's account temporarily or end the relationship if the terms or laws are broken or there are serious complaints.
- You may ask to end the relationship at any time after existing orders are completed.
11. Responsibility for violations and indemnity
- You are responsible for any violation or damage arising from your products, your information or your failure to meet your obligations.
- [The indemnity clause is to be drafted as far as the law allows, after legal review.]
12. Limits of the platform's liability
- To the extent the law allows, KHALVORI's liability is limited to what the law prescribes. [The final wording is to be set after legal review]
13. Disputes and governing law
- We first try to resolve any disagreement amicably by talking to the team.
- [The governing law and competent courts are to be set after legal review.]
14. Fees and commission
- [Is there a fee or commission on sales, and how much? To be decided before launch and stated here clearly.]
15. Changes to the terms
- These terms may be updated. The version each seller accepted is kept, and their acceptance of a new version is asked for when it changes materially.
